Muriele sang for her neighbours for VE Day

With the full sanction of the police,  Muriele played an impromptu performance in the street where Muriele lived in Alresford as part of the VE Day Celebrations entertaining her neighbours who came out of their houses.  Everyone maintained strict social distancing but it raised the spirits of young and old alike.   Muriele sang songs from the war era as well as some wartime French classics.
