Muriele is a standout French vocalist whose emotive performances and mastery of both classics French chanson and 1940's wartime songs captivate audiences.

At her performance at last September'S Lee Victory Festival on the historic HMS Daedalus airfield in Lee on Solent highlighted her ability to blend her choice of music & songs to perform.

“I really enjoyed the singer which complemented the fabulous Montmartre atmosphere of the beautiful artworks. What a lovely way to create such a good atmosphere and complement the art”.

Muriele was a fantastic asset to our 1940's event. Her professionalism and ability to be flexible helped greatly with the planning of her performances which were beautifully delivered.

There was a lovely moment where she shared her microphone with a D Day veteran, providing a spontaneous duel performance which brought a tear to many an eye. We are thrilled to have her back for Revival 2024

A real privilege to be asked to write on behalf of Muriele who I have known for several years now, mainly engaging  her to sing at events.

Not only as Muriele has a delightful voice who always engaging her audiences but she is  a warm and friendly person with a charming personality.

I am very proud to know her.

Robert Parsons Winchester Rotary ( March 2024)

Muriele is a captivating performer with a voice that adapts with such ease to the mood of the songs she clearly loves

We invited her to the Watlington Twinning Group's re-launch and found an audience that were immediately entranced with a catalogue that included the novel, alongside many older favourites from the French songbook.Smiles and clapping of approval followed easily and enthusiastically after every song.

Twinning groups and others should invite her if possible.

Muriele made the set up simple and her technical grasp of the needs of our hall allowed her voice to deliver each song with feeling..

Muriele  I want to thank you once again for the wonderful singing you did on our wedding day. Your performance was wonderful and it really added to the atmosphere of our cocktail drinks reception straight after our wedding. Walking into the room with you singing ‘La Vie En Rose’ was absolutely magical.

"Joie de Vivre entertained our 200 guests on Beaujolais Day  at Grand Cafe, Southampton with a delightful compilation of French Classics.  The feedback and general comments from our patrons were excellent on the day.  The professionalism and enthusiasm which they showed during that event are a credit to both of them.  I would like to highly recommend them for any similar type of event.  We would like to wish the aptly named "Joie de Vivre" all the success they deserve for the future.  In fact, we are already looking forward to having them again soon"

"The Swiss Chalet [where Joie de Vivre played a concert on Bastille Day] is a very rare “trophy property” designed and restored exclusively for Private Members only. The Chalet is one of the most famous secret landmarks used by some of the most discerning personalities in the World. From King Edward VII right through to Charlie Chaplin, Fred Astaire, Marlin Monroe to mention but a few. Today only the most exclusive guests are privy to be entertained at this amazing private residence.

For this precise reason we have carefully selected what I would call  rising stars. I just wanted to say how thrilled we were with your performance at our private function.  Everyone commented on how amazing [Muriele's} voice was.  I have had so many people ask for your names! [Joie de Vivre were] just amazing and I can’t tell you how delighted I was! You blew our guests away with such unexpected talent. I’d highly recommend you to anyone especially anyone seeking music and performance to enhance any exquisite occasion!!  You score very high in my preferred Jazz music performance !! All the best, "

Winchester Rotary have many fundraising events during the year which I am often responsible for so I will keep your details on hand and doubtless will be in touch again.

"Muriele entertained the 350 dancers that attended our Dance Yourself Dizzy, Parisian themed modern jive ball held at Guildhall Winchester.  Muriele has a lovely voice-truly beautiful and sang a variety of songs in French to the delight of the dancers that attended.  Even for people that do not speak French, her song choices meant that the audience could recognise the music, enjoy the performance and in some cases attempted to sing along with their interpretation of the words!  I would highly recommend asking Muriele to perform at your event.   She is a skilled and professional performer, with her own professional sound system and she brought a unique aspect to our event."

Danny, Managing Director of Dance Yourself Dizzy

"Joie de Vivre played for Alresford Twinning Association's Musical Soirée  This was an informal bistro style evening attended by 60 members and guests all with a love of France.  The music was very much enjoyed by all and Muriele's voice was a delight.  Muriele and her pianist were very engaging and met the challenge of ad hoc requests very well.  We would recommend Joie de Vivre to similar organisations and events. I'm sure those that came will do it again. So we must plan another one for the New Year! "

Richard Adams, General Manager, South Winchester Golf Club commenting on Beaujolais Nouveau night at the club.

Initially, we saw Muriele, in Winchester and thought how wonderful she would be performing at our wedding. We were not disappointed.  Her repertoire of old French classic amourettes were beautifully delivered and extremely varied from Piaf to Brel . All our guests enjoyed listening and singing along as we danced early in the evening before dinner"

"I was on holiday over from Ireland visiting Winchester and heard this marvellous French group, Joie de Vivre.   The singer moved with the music and really felt the music.  I told them after the gig that what I loved about them was their authenticity.  This was real music played by real musicians.  They would go down very well in Ireland because that it what they look for in Ireland-authenticity"
